Wire 3D Metal Printing
is here.
ACCUFACTURE: Your Meltio Authorized
Integrator in the USA!
MELTIO takes metal 3D printing to the next level by developing high-performance, affordable, and easy-to-use metal 3D printing solutions. Their Laser Metal Deposition (LMD) process is built around wire- the safest, cleanest, and lowest cost metal feedstock on the market. In collaboration with FANUC America and MELTIO, ACCUFACTURE is excited to announce “Alchemist I,” a ready-to-use additive manufacturing workcell for the USA market. Metal 3D printing is not just for prototypes anymore, it can easily be integrated into existing production environments and processes, helping reduce lead time, downtime, cost, and improving manufacturing flexibility. Let us know how we can meet your needs.

Why Single and Multi Wire Metal 3D Printing Is a Good Idea
ACCUFACTURE EXPERT:
"Single and multi wire metal 3D printing is considered a good idea because it allows for the creation of complex, customized metal parts with unique properties by enabling the use of different metals within a single component, optimizing functionality and design flexibility. Meltio’s LMD process produces fully dense parts with superior microstructure; reaching a consistent 99.998% densification. Using widely available welding wire, repair existing components easily, or make new parts in hours instead of weeks!"

Single Wire
The bulk of the 3D printing process is built around wire, the safest, cleanest, and easiest to work with metal feedstock.Single wire metal printing, also known as wire-based additive manufacturing, is beneficial primarily because it significantly reduces material waste compared to powder-based metal printing methods.
Multi Wire
Dual-wire deposition, and now quad-wire metal printing is beneficial because it allows for the precise control of material properties within a single part by enabling the simultaneous use of 2-4 different metal wires. It can create complex structures with varying functionalities like hard-facing on a component's critical areas, improved heat dissipation in others, while maintaining the base material's integrity.

Reliable
The metal 3D printing process is monitored in real time and compensated if required by process control.

Easy to Use
Automatic toolpath generation and material print profiles supplied by Meltio make for a plug and play experience.

Affordable
The low capital and running costs of the Meltio equipment make metal 3D printing of conventional parts possible. Cost-effective component repair, part augmentation, and feature addition.

Retrofitting
Provide new capability to any robot arm by turning it into a metal 3D printing system.
